Hi, my name is Lin Chaplin – I am the Proprietor of Linc BAS. I commenced my working relationship in the Finance Industry, working with Business Loans, Property Loans and Commercial Companies, and have always been associated within an Accounting Environment.
After I had my first child I wanted more satisfaction from my work as well as more time for my family, so I decided to go into business and exert my knowledge and experience, helping others in their business.
Working as the Financial Controller of a major Tourism firm on the Gold Coast was a rewarding 10-year contract. To this day I still have some clients on my books in excess of 10 years. I have worked with many industries, some being Building and Construction, All Trades, Hair & Beauty, Computer IT, Hotels and Management Rights, Laboratories & Medical, Retail and Restaurants, Farming, a vast array of different businesses.
I nurtured my clients through the 2000 Millennium of the Tax Office Changes and the instigation of the GST. I have seen a lot of changes in my 15+ years of Bookkeeping which has governed my varied understanding of business procedures and management.
I am passionate about small business. I really appreciate seeing a business start, grow and become a secure successful future for their families, employees and their customers.
